Inspired by 20 years of tech recruiting in South Florida with SherlockTalent, Alex Funkhouser founded GetMyInterns.org -> the talent pipeline filling Internship Placement platform designed to grow our region’s technology labor supply. Miami.GetMyInterns.org, Broward.GetMyInterns.org and other school districts have launched the careers of over 10,000 students, funded by over $10 million in grants. Mr. Funkhouser serves as the inaugural president of TechLauderdale, the producer of ITPalooza, the South Florida Software Developer Conference (aka CodeCamp), and many other technology events and programs. Mr. Funkhouser founded and serves as CEO of SherlockTalent, the Miami Beach-based technology recruiting and staffing firm known as the embedded source of technology and marketing talent in South Florida. Mr. Funkhouser earned an International MBA from Nyenrode University, The Netherlands School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University.
