My “why” is to empower others to be successful through emotional intelligence and servant-based leadership. Crediting her experience at Sedgwick in B2B consulting, she founded her business, TBTI., originally a translation company specializing in employee benefits communications that expanded into outsourced HR services - branding, talent acquisition, leadership development, SOPs, compliance & risk mgt., employee engagement, HRIS system evaluation & implementation. She was hired at Accor Hotels as the Director of Talent, Culture & Recognition during both cultural & digital transformations & mergers & acquisitions to support North & Central America & the Caribbean because of her experience as a consultant in the hotel industry but also as a customer who had organized large-scale events for the Latin Music community, corporate & community events. She also built an HR dept. from scratch to unite six stores and create a corporate leadership structure. Before moving to SFL, Jeri spent sixteen years in Washington, DC creating concerts & events; serving as a Smithsonian Teacher Leader teaching high school students to be digital natives and learn how to code, coaching fellow teachers on new technology programs, building a community center to provide life-skills & career services for immigrant parents & students and founded The SalsaNews securing top SEO ratings for 10 years. She is a servant-based leader that can fully align both employment & customer/guest experiences gathering data to assess, develop & deploy the organizational development plan to position for growth & sustainability.
